Ultimate SLP and The Digital SLP are both no-print, screen-first therapy libraries, but they are built for different SLPs. Ultimate SLP is a large library of online games, flash-card decks, and real-life photos for preschool through high school, at $12.95 a month. The Digital SLP costs $35 a month and is built around web-based interactive PDFs for PreK through 8th grade, with homework sheets and QuickLinks for sharing activities with families. Pick Ultimate SLP for affordable drill on a shared screen; pick The Digital SLP if you run teletherapy full time and send activities home often.
Full disclosure: we build Ga-loo, a generator for printable articulation worksheets. We do not sell a digital library, so neither product here is our direct competitor. Everything below comes from the two companies' own pages, checked in September 2026.

The full price breakdowns live in Ultimate SLP cost and in our Ultimate SLP review; here the question is which library fits how you work.
What each library is built around
Ultimate SLP is a game-and-deck library. You pick targets, the site builds the card deck, and you play it inside one of its online games. Its homepage stresses zero prep, multiple goals in one session, and play with up to 6 players, which makes it practical for mixed groups on a shared screen. Reviewers praise the breadth and criticize the dated interface and repetitive decks.
The Digital SLP is an interactive-PDF library. Activities are designed as digital worksheets and games you open in the browser, and the membership adds homework sheets, video recommendations, and a podcast archive. The company says language resources are the most prevalent, and it notes the materials also work on iPads and smartboards for in-person sessions.
Is The Digital SLP worth it compared to Ultimate SLP?
On price, The Digital SLP costs $189 more a year on annual plans ($329 against $139.92). That difference buys three things Ultimate SLP does not advertise:
QuickLinks for families. Up to 50 shared activities a month on the annual plan, useful if home practice is part of every student's plan.
Language depth for PreK to 8th grade. If most of your caseload is language rather than articulation, the interactive PDFs are the core of the product.
A different format. Interactive PDFs feel closer to a worksheet than a game, which some SLPs prefer for structured drill.
If you do not need any of the three, the extra $189 buys little. If you send activities home every week, the QuickLinks allowance alone may justify it.
Which is better for articulation?
Both cover articulation, but in different ways. Ultimate SLP lets you choose articulation targets and turn them into card decks inside its games, which suits fast, high-repetition drill. The Digital SLP offers articulation and phonology activities as interactive PDFs. Neither advertises phonetic checking of its word lists, so it is worth previewing decks before a session.
For plain drill, you may not need either library. Our free, verified lists, such as initial R words, ST blend words, and final S words, work on a shared screen and cost nothing.
Which is better for teletherapy and for in-person sessions?
Both are built for screens, so both fit teletherapy. Ultimate SLP runs its games in the browser with up to 6 players, which helps with groups. The Digital SLP says its materials also run on iPads and smartboards, so it can follow you back into a therapy room with a tablet. Neither is a print library: if your sessions moved back to a table and paper, look at printable options instead.
Ultimate SLP or The Digital SLP: who should pick which
Pick Ultimate SLP if you want the lowest monthly bill, you work across preschool to high school, and games and flash cards on a shared screen are how you run drill.
Pick The Digital SLP if you run teletherapy full time, most of your caseload is PreK to 8th-grade language, and you share activities with families every week.
Pick neither if your sessions run on paper, or if your main need is articulation drill with a verified word list.
Our verdict
Ultimate SLP is the better value for most SLPs who want a screen library for drill: it covers a wider age range for less than half the price. The Digital SLP is the better product for a narrower SLP, one who runs full-time teletherapy with a language-heavy PreK to 8th caseload and relies on sending activities home. The trials overlap well: The Digital SLP gives 30 days and Ultimate SLP two weeks, so you can test both against the same students in one month. Cancel before each trial ends if you decide against it.
If neither library fits
If you like the idea but not these two, Ultimate SLP alternatives and The Digital SLP alternatives cover the rest of the field, and Boom Cards alternatives compares both libraries with buying decks one at a time. If your sessions need printed practice for one specific child, Ga-loo generates a printable articulation worksheet by sound, position, age, and theme, with every word checked against the CMU Pronouncing Dictionary. The first worksheet is free, no card needed.
