SLP Now costs $29 per month or $249 per year for an individual membership. Both plans include the same features; the yearly plan saves $99 against twelve monthly payments. A 14-day free trial needs no credit card but caps you at 5 material downloads. Prices were checked on the official pricing page in September 2026.
SLP Now pricing at a glance
Plan | Price | Billing | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
Monthly membership | $29/month | Monthly, auto-renews | Cancel any time in account settings |
Yearly membership | $249/year | Annually, auto-renews | Saves $99 vs monthly; no partial refunds mid-year |
Free trial | $0 | 14 days | No card; unlimited students and sessions, 5 material downloads |
Schools and districts | Quote-based | Purchase order | Group discounts arranged directly with SLP Now |
There is only one membership tier. SLP Now does not sell a cheaper materials-only plan or a separate planner-only plan; the self-paced SLP Now Academy courses are bundled into the same membership rather than sold separately.
What the $29 a month includes
The pricing page lists the same benefits for monthly and yearly members:
A library of 6,000+ therapy materials, organized into 100+ thematic units and 20+ skill-building packs.
A digital therapy planner with individual student data tracking.
Click-and-paste Medicaid billing templates.
HIPAA-compliant data storage.
Self-paced SLP Now Academy courses.
The library is literacy-based and curriculum-style: units built around books and themes for mixed groups, with language and articulation targets layered on top. If you want to know how that compares with other memberships, see SLP Now alternatives.
How the free trial works
The trial runs 14 days and does not ask for a card, so it will not silently convert into a paid plan. You can add unlimited students and log unlimited sessions, but downloads are capped at 5 materials. That cap matters: five downloads is enough to judge quality, not enough to run two weeks of therapy from the trial alone. Plan the trial around the units you would actually use.
Refunds and cancellation
You cancel from the subscription page in your account settings; cancelling stops the auto-renewal and you keep access to the end of the paid period. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase, and only if you have downloaded fewer than 25 materials. Past 25 downloads the request is declined. Yearly memberships are not refunded partially if you cancel mid-year, so the annual plan is a real twelve-month commitment. SLP Now does say it refunds unintentional renewals if you report them promptly.
Monthly or yearly? The school-year math
Twelve monthly payments come to $348, so the yearly plan at $249 saves $99 and breaks even after about eight and a half months of use. A ten-month contract year on the monthly plan is $290, still $41 more than the annual plan. The annual plan only loses if you know you will use SLP Now for eight months or fewer, for example during a single placement or a CF year that ends in spring.
The catch is the no-partial-refund rule. If there is any chance you will not need the membership by January, pay monthly for the first two or three months and switch to yearly once you are sure.
SLP Now vs the alternatives on price
Membership | Monthly | Yearly | Free trial |
|---|---|---|---|
SLP Now | $29 | $249 | 14 days, 5 downloads, no card |
SLP Toolkit | $29 | $215 | 30 days, full access |
The Digital SLP | $35 | $329 | 30 days |
Ultimate SLP | $12.95 | $139.92 | 2 weeks |
Ga-loo | $15 | Pay as you go from $9 | Free worksheet, no card |
Same monthly price does not mean the same product. SLP Toolkit is an assessment and data platform with no materials library, while SLP Now is materials plus a planner; we compare them in SLP Now vs SLP Toolkit. Ultimate SLP is a fixed library of screen-based games at less than half the price, and The Digital SLP is a no-print library that costs more than SLP Now.
If you only need articulation materials
$249 a year buys a lot of library you may never open if your caseload is mostly articulation. Free, dictionary-verified articulation word lists by sound and position cover a surprising share of drill work at no cost. When you need a worksheet built around a specific child, Ga-loo generates it from your description: target sound, word position, age, theme, as a print-ready PDF with every word checked against the CMU Pronouncing Dictionary. Credit packs start at $9 for 10 worksheets, a subscription is $15 a month, and the first worksheet is free with no card.
Frequently asked questions
How much does SLP Now cost per month?
$29 per month on the monthly membership, as of September 2026. The yearly membership is $249, which works out to about $20.75 a month.
Is there a free version of SLP Now?
No permanent free plan. There is a 14-day free trial with no card required, limited to 5 material downloads.
Does SLP Now offer a discount for schools?
Not a published one. Districts can pay by purchase order and receive group discounts, but the rates are quote-based and arranged by contacting SLP Now directly.
Can I get a refund on SLP Now?
Yes, within 14 days of purchase if you have downloaded fewer than 25 materials. Yearly plans are not refunded partially after that window.
Is SLP Now cheaper than SLP Toolkit?
They cost the same per month, $29. On annual plans SLP Toolkit is $34 cheaper at $215, but it is a data platform, not a materials library, so the two are not substitutes.
Is SLP Now worth $249 a year?
If you run mixed groups weekly from themed units and use the planner and billing templates, the yearly plan is fair value. If your usage is a few articulation materials a month, a free word list plus per-worksheet generation costs a fraction of that.
